Burroughes & Watts mahogany cupboard scoreboard & cue holder c1900.

A fine quality cupboard scoreboard crafted by the master craftsmen at Burroughes & Watts as part of a matching piece for the Full Size Billiard table previously owned by Sir Tom Jones.  Made to order c1900 in finest quality mahogany, the breakfront top section carved with swags & English Roses and with the centre section with carved pediment, opening to reveal roller numbering for billiard or snooker for 6 players rotated by inset paddles. Rollers are finished in slate grey with cream lettering all in fine condition.  Below is a curved drop-down panel concealing ball storage of 23 balls.  Lower section with panelled drawer carved in the manner of a Grecian urn & swags, and a pair of panelled doors.  Side flanks of the unit have brass & ivory spring clips for storage of 6 x cues & rests to each side.
