A truly superb example of the hand made craftsmanship of Thurston & Co. of London c1902 this being their 'Sheraton' design, this table made in top quality solid mahogany but then veneered with flame figured veneers & satinwood banding. The table has been later modified and improved c1910 by the fitting of Burroughes & Watts patented  'steel vacuum cushions' so that this is truly one of the finest Billiard/Snooker tables ever made and will never be equalled.

Accompanying the table is an equally wonderful matching cupboard/scoreboard which in itself is a work or art together with a selection of period rests & cues etc. to complete the whole suite.  We even have the original Invoice entry from the Thurston & Co ledger containing the sale details for a total sale price of £166 pounds, 7 shillings which equates to around £30,000 just on inflation alone.  Added to this that over 120 years some tables will undoubtedly have been damaged or lost, and here we have an absolutuly wonderful table with proven provenance, never to be repeated.
