This is a reproduction of an antique billiard table which is sited in a museum in Fagervik, Finland. We were requested by a client who lives near the museum to make a replica of the table from solid oak to install in his home and so we actually produced two such tables, this being the second. The production of these was a great challenge using very old machinery & techniques as it is required to machine the legs on a lathe but using a spiral cutting tailstock. This table has never been assembled & so is virtually unique. It has been stained to a medium colour and left as a simple waxed finish, so we will be assembling with new slates & would recommend simple 'bag' nets as being the most appropriate for a table of this style & historical importance.
