A fine example of a Victorian turned leg billiard/snooker table by Burroughes & Watts, made c1890 & finished in pale mahogany. The well proportioned bulbous turned legs have an unusual spiral fluting and the polished surfaces to the whole table are in excellent condition with a lovely mellow patina.
The original slate bed is in four sections with a playing area of 10ft x 5ft resulting in an overall table size of 10ft6ins x 5ft6ins. The table will be suppled with a full complement of mostly period accessories, but with new Aramith snooker balls.
